Hey Gamer, glad to see you posted an update.

Any change I could see the original to compare?

Mind if I critique this one too? :P

What's going on with the planet? It seems aliased and blurry along the edges. Also, the shadow you added in the bottom left corner of the planet is leaking onto the star field itself, I don't think it should, but that's really just an opinion.

Overall I see definite improvements though, the focal has certainly been corrected, the first thing I looked at was in fact the planet / lighting this time, as opposed to the gorgeous star field :P

Like I said, if you could link to the previous edit, I'd like to see them side by side to come up with a more educated list of nitpicked ';problems' haha.

Kidding aside, this remains a fantastic piece man -- I love the absurd amount of detail put into it :D

Sure. Here's the old version. :D

I am glad you like this so much! :la:

You asked what was going on with the planet. Well, when I was making the image, I had flattened one version of the image with the text at the bottom and everything else, so the planet wasn't intact any more. So I had to use the circular selection tool and get as close to the planet as possible and then added some gradients and gaussian blur to give more depth. I also used some rotations after that with multiple layers, so that's probably why some of the color at the bottom of the planet is like that. ;P It's hard to see your own mistakes, and I appreciate you pointing these out to me. :D I might as well be making a new, improved version ;)

I figured it had something to do with flattening ;)

Thanks for putting up the old link as well -- the differences are good, and I like the color tweaks as well, overall :)

I don't think a remake is necessary, but if you're up for it I say go for it :D

Great job again man, this one's a good one :)
